What is FOSSI?

FOSSI is a user-to-user marketplace where local sellers, buyers, and trendsetters can showcase and discover unique, preloved treasures. Our story began in New Zealand, where founders Edyn Mckee and Samuel McClatchy had a vision to make a positive impact on the environment.

The Problem with Fast Fashion

• 20 billion new garments are made every year, equivalent to clothing for 4 generations
• The average person wears new items only 7-10 times before discarding them
• Discarded clothing pollutes our oceans with toxic chemicals and microplastics, ending up in landfills and on beaches

The Solution

Preloved vintage clothing is often cheaper, better quality, and more sustainable than brand new mass-produced items. At FOSSI, we're passionate about creating a community that cares about our future.
